The beauty of this midcentury ranch is in the large windows and open floorplan. This room boasts vaulted ceilings with original tongue and groove. Our plan was to keep these original elements as a focal point and let the kitchen feel more quiet and subtle. The cabinetry and the layout are streamlined and rooted in functionality with a large, workhorse island. The materials are natural marble and soapstone which will gracefully patina over time.
